MY THOUGHTS
When you pick up a book by Terri Blackstock, you can count on certain things: suspense, romance, great characters, exciting story line, thread of faith and hope. And that is exactly what I found in her newest book, Aftermath. I sat down with my e-reader to see how much of the story I could enjoy in one afternoon and got so involved in the story that I finished the entire thing in one sitting.
The author deals expertly with several difficult issues in this story and uses them to develop complex characters and relationships that drew me in even more this time than her trademark element of suspense. Don't worry, though, if you are a Terri Blackstock fan; suspense is definitely an important part of the story.
I highly recommend Aftermath to fans of inspirational fiction, and romantic suspense in particular. Thanks to JustRead Publicity Tours for providing a copy of the book. I am happy to share my own personal thoughts in this review.
