This collection of Christmas carols, poems, scripture, and short stories put together by Mary Engelbriet is a lovely piece to be enjoyed during the Christmas season. Readers will find familiar Christmas carols and some not-so-familiar passages that draw minds and hearts to the true story of Christmas. Although Peace on Earth is marketed for ages 4-8, some of the readings might not be easily understood or appealing to that age group. The colorful, detailed illustrations, though, make the book a visual delight for young and old alike.
